TinyUML scratches a personal itch. When I prepared for the SCEA certification in 2006, I realized that I could not find a UML tool in my price range (that means free) that met my needs.
By starting this project, I am trying to get the best out of the situation by creating a design tool which I can use for my personal requirements. It is also a study in software project management, software design and time management. My hope is that other people will find this software useful as well.
The goal is to provide a UML 2 sketching tool that is
- Open Source licensed and free of charge
- implemented in Java
- small, reliable and simple to use
